Last updated: [date]. These terms are between [Your legal business name] ("Tempo", "we") and the company signing up ("you").
Tempo is a hosted customer-relationship tool for contractors. You get a private company account and the number of logins included in your plan.
Plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you sign up. By choosing automatic bank debit (ACH) you authorize us, through our payment processor Stripe, to debit the bank account you connect every month until you cancel. A card may be kept on file as a backup and charged if the bank debit fails. You can see or change your payment method any time from Billing inside Tempo.
The first payment of a bank debit can take about 4 to 5 business days to clear. Your account is created when it clears. If a payment fails you will be told by email and have 7 days to fix it before access is suspended. We may charge a returned-payment fee only if we tell you first. [Confirm with your lawyer.]
We may change prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it will start with a bill after that notice. You may cancel before then.
You may move to a bigger or smaller plan at any time. A change takes effect on your next monthly bill. If you are over the people limit of a smaller plan you will need to remove logins first.
Month to month, no contract. Cancel any time from Billing inside Tempo. Your access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for, and we do not refund part months. [Adjust if you want to offer refunds.]
Your leads, notes and files are yours. You can export your leads to a spreadsheet at any time. After you cancel we keep your data for [30] days so you can come back or export it, then delete it.
Do not use Tempo to break the law, to send spam, or to store data you have no right to hold. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk.
We work hard to keep Tempo running and backed up, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem. [Have a lawyer review this section.]
